Join our dynamic Space Planning team as a Space and Logistics Coordinator and help deliver successful mini moves and furniture projects.
You'll oversee everything from planning to execution, ensuring each project runs smoothly.The role is key to optimising space, transforming it into productive and inspiring areas.
Your eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and project management expertise will be vital in delivering outstanding results.Key Responsibilities:Assisting the Senior Strategic Space Planner in advising on space provision for complex issues, ensuring optimal use of space in line with Pae Tata 2030 Strategy.Collaborating with the academic community to understand space needs and emerging requirements, building professional networks to enhance customer experience.Liaising with contractors, consultants, and relevant teams to plan relocations, feasibility studies, space reconfiguration, and changes of use.Leading project activities for operational moves, furniture, and decanting for both small and large-scale projects.Managing a furniture programme, coordinating with contractors and suppliers for cost-effective, sustainable solutions.Providing statistical analysis on space usage, ownership, and relocation.Key Skills and Attributes:Highly motivated, results-driven, and action-oriented to meet team and project goals.Strong judgment and problem-solving ability to address issues quickly.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and experience managing projects from start to finish.Team player with a strong interest in learning new systems and processes.Ability to build and maintain effective networks and relationships.Attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a customer-focused mindset will help you thrive in this role.
Prior project management or spatial planning experience is a plus, but enthusiasm to learn is equally valued.Together, we'll shape the future of our University and create spaces that inspire and delight.
