Job SummaryWe are seeking an accomplished academic professional to join our faculty as a dynamic contributor to our specialized agribusiness programmes. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in agribusiness, a proven track record of research and publication, and exceptional teaching and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and deliver high-quality agribusiness courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, incorporating real-world applications and case studies.
- Research and Industry Engagement: Conduct innovative research in agribusiness, collaborate with industry partners, and engage in knowledge transfer activities to drive economic growth and sustainability.
- Postgraduate Supervision: Mentor and guide postgraduate students in their research projects, providing expert guidance and support to ensure academic excellence.
- Cultural Competence: Adapt to diverse cultural contexts and work effectively in a multicultural environment, leveraging international collaboration opportunities.
- Qualifications: Hold a PhD in agribusiness or a related field from a reputable university.
- Research Experience: Demonstrate a strong track record of publications in leading international journals and a keen interest in advancing knowledge in agribusiness.
- Teaching and Student Support: Show evidence of successful teaching and student support at the university level, including the ability to design and deliver engaging curricula.
- Networking and Relationship-Building: Possess excellent networking and relationship-building skills, enabling effective collaboration with academia, industry, and government stakeholders.
