About Us
The Central Hawke’s Bay Aero Club is a leading aeronautical organization seeking an experienced administrator to join our team. As a key member of our administration department, you will play a vital role in supporting our President and committee in maintaining smooth operations and communication within the club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication and Correspondence: Manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely responses and forwarding necessary documents to the committee.
- Member Management: Maintain accurate member records, send welcome letters to new members, and ensure up-to-date information is readily available.
- Financial Administration: Prepare invoices, handle monthly bank reconciliations, complete GST returns, and ensure timely payment of accounts.
- Record Keeping and Compliance: Track flying hours, fuel charges, and maintain club records, ensuring compliance with record-keeping standards.
- Meeting Support and Organization: Prepare agendas, record minutes at monthly committee and annual meetings, distribute meeting minutes, and organize the Annual General Meeting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience with a proven track record of strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of basic financial procedures (invoicing, bank reconciliations, GST).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
