About You:

You will have (or be close to completing) vocational training in Paediatric Infectious Diseases, hold at least the equivalent of the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and be eligible (or close to being eligible) for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

You will participate in all aspects of our clinical service and will need to have specific training in, and be independent in, managing the full suite of Paediatric Infectious Diseases services.

A track record in research is strongly encouraged and there are opportunities for clinical research and collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Auckland. The department has a strong focus on advocacy with representation on many relevant regional and national committees.

The service has a strong philosophy of quality improvement and innovation in healthcare delivery, in which you would be expected to contribute. Experience in delivering healthcare virtually will also be beneficial.
