At Legence, we are seeking an experienced Freight Management Executive to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet assigned net revenue goals for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives through new logo client acquisition
  • Develop a sales plan and execute relevant activities to reach and exceed established sales goals for new net revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline across Legence's Logistics services

You will utilize a consultative approach to drive conversations with the expectation of moving the prospective customer through the buying cycle and developing a formal and written sales solution for the purposes of closing business. You will effectively communicate Legence's value proposition to prospective and current customers and build and strengthen business relationships with potential and existing clients for the purpose of promoting Legence's portfolio of chemical logistics solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Proven track record of success in a sales role within the logistics or supply chain industry
  • 5+ years of experience closing freight management opportunities with a TMS technology component of the solution
  • 5+ years of multi-modal experience in TL, LTL, Partial Truckload, and Expedite
