About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Technician to join our team at Dominator CHCH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining high-quality garage doors and automation solutions for residential and trade customers across the Canterbury region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install garage doors in residential homes and properties across the Canterbury region.
  • Carry out installation, repairs, and maintenance work, and respond to after-hour repairs.
  • Ensure sufficient supplies, materials, and parts in the vehicle.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through on-site communication with customers and updating the job management system.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, legislation, and procedures, including health and safety.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar position is preferred, where you have worked individually or in a small team, managing your time to complete installations.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools with a solid mechanical aptitude for on-site fault finding and a 'can-do attitude.'
  • A Full New Zealand driver's licence is a must.
  • Good physical fitness is essential.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to deliver reliable, high-quality services.
