About the Role
As a key member of our technical contracts team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Resources staff at Christchurch City Council. Your responsibilities will be diverse and challenging, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Tasks:

  • Process contract progress claims using complex spreadsheets.
  • Prepare procurement documentation, including contractual documents.
  • Upload tender documentation onto the Council's tender portal.
  • Collate all contract documents and additional correspondence for signing by the Council and the successful contractor.
  • Publish start work notices on the website and distribute to key stakeholders.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will have experience working with contracts, preferably in an administration or procurement context. Your methodical approach and ability to multitask will allow you to maintain accuracy and attention to detail, even when faced with high volumes of work. Experience with SAP, particularly in finance or procurement, is highly desirable. Additionally, proficiency in Excel and knowledge of Capital Delivery Projects, specifically NZS 3190/3916 contracts, are essential.
