Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Financial Reporting:

  • Delivering monthly management reporting internally and supporting the delivery of monthly external reports to councils.
  • Providing fact-based analysis and insights, and accurate budgeting and forecasting information.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and meet deadlines.
  • Communicating complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) qualification.
  • 5+ years post-qualification accounting experience.
  • Strong collaborative skills with the ability to relate to a diverse workforce.
  • Experience in complex budgeting and forecasting processes in a large organisation, with experience in Technology One preferred.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
