Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Intellectual Disability Forensic Service. In this key role, you will provide expert nursing advice, care, and support to service users while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

This position involves:

Providing specialist nursing advice and care to service users.Supporting nursing and support workers in their roles.Reflecting on your work and identifying opportunities for enhancement.Leading clinical environments to improve practice and implementation of best practice standards.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A minimum of three years' experience in Mental Health/Intellectual Disability Services.
  • Registration with the Nursing Council of NZ and a current annual practicing certificate.
  • A post-graduate qualification or working towards a Clinical Masters in Nursing.
