Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled communications professional to join our corporate communications team as a Senior Communications Advisor. This is a 13-month fixed-term role, starting in late April 2025.
Key Responsibilities- Communication Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to engage key internal and external audiences through AUT's internal communications channels.
- Project Execution: Manage and execute communications projects and plans, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Establish and maintain internal relationships with key stakeholders from teams and departments across the University.
- Reputation Building: Advance the use of multi-media communications channels to enhance AUT's reputation, improve newsworthiness, and amplify stories and content.
- Team Support: Provide advice and support to staff who produce internal communications.
Our corporate communications team is responsible for promoting the University's story to key internal and external audiences. We work closely with senior leaders, academics, and staff to develop and deliver internal communications that inspire and inform.
