About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team in Central Auckland. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing emotional support and companionship to individuals with disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care and medication management
  • Developing and implementing individualized support plans to promote independence and self-advocacy
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A strong interest in working with people with disabilities and mental health issues
  • Experience in a similar role or relevant education/training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
