Job Overview

This role plays a vital part in our team's efforts to support children and families. As a Social Worker, you will work closely with diverse case loads, collaborating with counsellors to provide holistic support.

You will also engage with government agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families. Additionally, you will run programs in partnership with schools to address social issues and collaborate with the community to raise awareness and provide resources.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver effective support services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and government agencies.
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop personalized support plans for clients.
  • Monitor client progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

About You

  • A Bachelor of Social Work qualification and registration with the relevant governing body.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a social work capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
  • A full driver's license and vehicle.
  • Possession of a Police Check and Children's Worker Safety Check.
