Job Overview:
This Is An It Support Group is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at the NCIS unit. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering accurate radiation treatment to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT-simulation, treatment device construction, and dosimetry calculation for radiation treatment delivery based on department protocol and plan approved by the Radiation Oncologist.
- Operate radiation therapy machines and supportive equipment in accordance with standard operation protocols and radiation safety practices.
- Adhere to safe radiation practices, occupational health hazards prevention, and infection control precautions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of radiation dose delivered to patients.
- Ensure high standards of patient care, clinical communication, and timely escalation of management of patients' side effects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Medical Radiation Technology or related fields.
- 3 years of clinical experience in Medical Radiation Therapy preferred. Fresh graduates will be considered for entry positions.
- Competent in clinical radiation therapy to perform pre-treatment and treatment delivery procedures to patients.
