Waikatodhbnewsroom is offering a rare and highly sought-after opportunity for a residential Medical Imaging Technologist to train in MRI. This full-time trainee position will provide both academic and practical training components.
The successful candidate will attend a remote training facility for formal tuition while also receiving hands-on experience in our department, guided by a team of six experienced MRI technologists.

About the Service
We employ approximately 350 allied health professionals across our services. Our inpatient physical health rehabilitation team is growing by 60%, and we're happy to support other teams to ensure their success. Our friendly team is diverse in skills and experience, welcoming collaboration and valuing the contribution of each team member.

About You
As a Trainee MRI Medical Imaging Technologist, you will have a national diploma or degree in Medical Diagnostic Imaging or recognised New Zealand equivalent, registration with the NZ MRTB, and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be able to maintain confidentiality and have demonstrated ability to balance academic and clinical demands.
