Job Description

As a Professional Rehabilitation Specialist with Ara Poutama Aotearoa, you will play a key role in providing specialist case management to prisoners, focusing on their rehabilitation and reintegration into society. You will be responsible for conducting initial assessments, identifying prisoner needs, creating tailored case plans, and preparing them for release.

You will work collaboratively with external agencies, prisoners' whanau, and other stakeholders to ensure prisoners receive the support they need to make positive changes. Your ability to exercise sound professional judgement, build strong relationships, and communicate effectively will be essential in achieving successful outcomes.
