Regional Student Outreach Coordinator

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement innovative strategies for student engagement and recruitment in the Wellington region. You will work closely with secondary school students, Career Advisors, and other stakeholders to promote the University of Waikato as a compelling option for tertiary study.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering a responsive and integrated student engagement and recruitment approach that includes:
- Implementing the University's overall student recruitment strategy for the Wellington region.
- Regularly engaging and interacting with secondary school students to encourage them to study at university.
- Developing and sustaining strong relationships with Career Advisors in local secondary schools.
- Analysing data and feedback to sustain and amplify engagement and recruitment opportunities.
- Maintaining high-level communication with other members of the Future Students Team and other teams from across the University.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective outreach programs to engage with secondary school students.* Build and maintain strong relationships with Career Advisors and other school staff.* Analyse data and feedback to inform engagement and recruitment strategies.* Collaborate with the Future Students Team to achieve common goals.* Provide excellent customer service to prospective students and their families.
