As a Media Liaison Specialist with the New Zealand Parliament, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Parliamentary Labour Party Leader and members of Parliament (MPs) in their parliamentary duties.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality and timely information, advice, and practical support in relation to the media.

You will be responsible for delivering advice relating to media and public relations issues, including campaigns and MP profiles. You will assist with media interviews and prepare material such as press releases, media messages, columns, social media posts, and speeches.

You will identify media opportunities and risks, have a strong understanding of political risk and opportunity, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The starting salary range for this role is $90,000 per annum. The Parliamentary Service offers a thorough induction, ongoing development, and excellent working conditions.
