About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Registrar to join our Clinical Haematology service as part of our research team for a period of 12 months. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with our Clinical Trials team in performing Sponsor and Investigator initiated research and conducting clinical consultations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient-required protocol visits, including clinical assessments and results interpretation.
  • Implement clinical trial protocols and liaise with key study and medical personnel and sponsors.
  • Ensure that clinical trials are conducted according to International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) regulatory authorities' requirements, and any other local policy requirements.

About You

You must be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and have experience in a number of hospital departments, including Haematology. An understanding and interest in clinical trials/research is essential to act as a sub-investigator and/or Principal Investigator.
