About the Role

We are seeking a qualified professional to join our Community Alcohol and Drug Service (CADS) as a Case Manager. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide case management support to adults experiencing moderate to severe addiction issues alongside mental health difficulties or associated physical health issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in managing their mental health and addiction needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other services and organizations to address obstacles to recovery.
  • Engage clients in their recovery journey through evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Requirements:

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse, Registered Social Worker, or Registered Occupational Therapist with full registration.
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to relate well to a wide variety of people.
