About the Role
The New Zealand Government's Community Alcohol and Drug Service (CADS) is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Case Manager. In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support to adults experiencing addiction issues, alongside mental health difficulties or associated physical health issues. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by addiction and mental health issues.
Responsibilities:
- Support clients with their mental health and addiction needs.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Engage clients in their recovery journey through evidence-based practices.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Foster effective relationships with other services and NGOs.
Requirements:
- New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to relate well to diverse individuals.
- Prior experience working within the Addiction sector is advantageous.
- Prior experience working within the Mental Health sector is also beneficial.
