Māori Cultural Advisor for Mental Health

The Capital & Coast District Health Board is looking for a dedicated Kaumatua to lead our forensic rehabilitation services. This part-time role involves providing guidance and support to our mental health team, ensuring that Tikanga Māori principles are applied in our inpatient unit and Regional Rehabilitation services.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Māori culture, language, and customs, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement culturally responsive programs and services that meet the needs of our patients.
