This part-time Support Worker role involves working with individuals who require assistance with daily living tasks. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized plans to promote independence and self-advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, shopping, and medication administration
  • Developing and implementing individualized plans to promote independence and self-advocacy

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong desire to work with people with intellectual disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances
  • Full NZ driver's license or willingness to obtain one
