Electric Power Network Specialist

This is a full-time, permanent role within The Lines Company's Network Services Team. As a Power Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of our network.
About the Role- Complete proactive and corrective maintenance as scheduled in work plans.
- Maintenance of 230V, 400V, 11kV and 33kV overhead lines and underground cables.
- Wiring and servicing of network equipment.
- Testing, adjusting and repair of substation equipment.
- Secondary wiring, batteries and chargers.
- Carry out switching as instructed by Network Controllers to assist in operation and maintenance of the network.
- Level 6 Technical Certificate/NZCE or equivalent.
- EWRB electricians' registration and current practicing licence (minimum EWRB limited registration).
- Minimum of three years' experience as a power technician and a registered electrician.
- Job stability.
