The Engineering Manager plays a pivotal role in the ongoing operation of our site, ensuring that production departments experience minimal downtime due to engineering and maintenance requirements. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers (mechanical and electrical) to ensure the maintenance and management of plant assets.
- Work closely with the Group Engineering Manager and Improvement Engineers to facilitate and manage plant improvement projects.
- Maintain a strong focus on cost and resource management, prioritizing expenditure decisions to meet business objectives.
- Provide confident leadership to an existing well-skilled engineering team.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in engineering, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing facility with a focus on preventative maintenance.
- Experience working in a hygienic food manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, complemented by skills in planning and good judgment.
- A can-do attitude and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- A commitment to upholding our high standards of Health and Safety.
