About This Role
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Receptionist to join our team at Pacific Radiology. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing frontline support and administration services to our patients.
Your excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients and referrers will make you an ideal candidate for this position. In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming patients, determining their needs, and fulfilling them by arranging bookings and providing appointment information.
You will also coordinate imaging appointments, maintain the reception and patient waiting area, check patient details, and accurately input information into company systems. Additionally, you will ensure patients are aware of examination costs and process payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and callers, determining and fulfilling their needs.
- Coordinate imaging appointments and lists as required.
- Maintain the reception and patient waiting area, ensuring it is clean and tidy.
- Check patient details and accurately input information into company systems.
- Ensure patients are aware of examination costs and process payments.
- Liaise with clinical staff to ensure appointments run to schedule.
Requirements:
- 2+ years in a professional administrator role and/or customer service experience.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new computer systems.
- Display exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Deliver exceptional customer service using exemplary interpersonal skills.
