We're looking for a skilled Operational Due Diligence Specialist to join our team at the New Zealand Super Fund. As a key member of our Risk business unit, you'll work closely with external managers, investee companies, and other external parties to ensure our investments and partners operate at best practice.

About the Role
  • Undertake operational due diligence assessments on new and existing external investment managers and investee companies.
  • Prepare reports which will include a review of all relevant areas including personnel, processes, controls, systems, trade lifecycle, procurement, supply chain, valuation, counterparty risk, cash management, risk management, regulatory environment, compliance, business continuity and cyber security.
  • Develop and maintain processes and measures to ensure due diligence frameworks are fit for purpose and current, for all our investment access points.
About You

You'll have a good risk lens, enjoy building constructive relationships, have the ability to identify gaps and improvements, while applying rational and sound judgement.

This is a senior role and would ideally suit someone who has completed or is studying towards either their CFA or CAIA (or other investment related qualifications) or has prior experience and an understanding within alternative strategies and real assets.
