About The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join our Wellington team. As a key member of our HSEQ team, you'll play a vital role in promoting a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Educating site workers on hazard identification and mitigation through effective communication and training programs.
  • Conducting project consultation processes, including site inductions, pre-start meetings, and safety committee facilitation.
  • Providing recommendations for corrective and preventive actions to prevent workplace incidents.
  • Investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing measures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborating with subcontractors to ensure regulatory compliance and identify potential hazards.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
