Key Responsibilities

The Tax Compliance and Accounting role will have responsibility to ensure accurate, timely and efficient NZ tax compliance and tax accounting obligations as well as to provide initial oversight of tax compliance and accounting for ANZ's presence in the Pacific. You will also manage relationships across ANZ's global tax team and various tax authorities.

  • Review the preparation of tax compliance and accounting across all of ANZ's NZ tax types to ensure accurate and timely compliance and provide oversight of ANZ's Pacific Island tax compliance obligations.
  • Identify and implement efficiencies in the way ANZ completes its tax compliance and accounting obligations.
  • Be in regular contact with ANZ's global tax team, the NZ CFO team and ANZ's business team, including to manage customer and front-line queries.
