About the Role

As a Category Manager within Corporate Services & Assets, you will develop and implement a category strategy that drives performance, value-for-money, and achievement of ESG outcomes important to Beca and our clients.

You will lead end-to-end procurement activities, using the Buying Team for support where required. Establishing a strong network and fostering collaboration with internal customers, key stakeholders, and team members within the Workplace Assets & Experience team will be essential.

You will take the lead on negotiations, support Beca on contract and supplier performance/relationship management, and be the go-to contact on driving value for your category.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and drive the procurement strategy for a critical category within our organization. You will be at the forefront of developing and implementing innovative procurement solutions that deliver value, enhance performance, and align with our strategic ESG outcomes.

In this role, you will identify and address enterprise-level risks and opportunities, contributing to the overall success of our procurement function.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support bid responses related to supply chains, social procurement, supplier diversity, and modern-day slavery, ensuring that our procurement practices reflect our commitment to ethical and sustainable sourcing.
