Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned executive to join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Country Manager in New Zealand. The successful candidate will lead and execute the overall business strategy and growth of AWS in the public sector, developing and implementing comprehensive country plans across short, medium, and long-term horizons. This role requires a deep understanding of government procurement processes, security requirements, and the unique challenges and opportunities within the public sector landscape.

About the Team:
The ANZ Leadership Team is comprised of experienced professionals who are passionate about driving innovation and growth in the region. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of cloud computing in New Zealand and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive country plans to drive business growth and expansion in New Zealand's public sector.
• Collaborate with AWS sales teams and partners to develop pipeline and targeted campaigns, driving customer acquisition and revenue growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives across strategic accounts, influencing direction and driving customer success through AWS adoption.
• Work closely with the AWS Public Policy team to shape emerging public policies around the use of cloud computing in government, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
