About The Role
As a Consultant/Senior Consultant based in Auckland, you will collaborate with commercially oriented companies to resolve important business challenges. A typical project may involve addressing strategic, organisational, economic, social, or environmental issues. From day one, Consultants are expected to take significant responsibility for delivering parts of projects.

You will provide thought leadership at the conceptual level and analytical expertise at the granular level, playing a key role in client leadership and management. Occasionally, you will guide client managers through unfamiliar and high-stakes territory. You may be supported by Analysts and/or client team members, but more often, you will have sole charge of your module without overseeing others' work.

About You
  • You are articulate in communicating at all levels of an organisation.
  • You are numerate, competent with Excel, and possess basic microeconomic knowledge.
  • You can alternate between big-picture thinking and attention to detail, as well as between conceptual and practical implications.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity, curious, and proactive.
  • You display resilience and are a lifelong learner.
This is an ideal role for someone currently working in Transactional Services within the Big 4, due to their exposure to business strategy and commercial due diligence. Other backgrounds will be considered, provided you have prior consulting experience and demonstrate strong financial capabilities.
