Job Description: Emergency Nurse Specialist
This role involves working as an Emergency Triage Nurse or Paramedic, providing essential health and well-being support and advice to people right across New Zealand.
- You'll be responsible for triaging patients over the telephone, assessing and helping callers take appropriate action.
- Secondary triage will be provided to patients who may not require an ambulance, but may need alternative care pathways or self-care advice.
- Giving advice and support that respects backgrounds and cultures is also a key aspect of this role.
Essential Requirements:
NZ Registered Nurse or Paramedic with a current practising certificate.
Background in paramedicine or general nursing with 3 years' post-registration experience.
