About the Role

We are seeking 2x Kaiarohi / AOD Practitioners to join our team. As a Kaiarohi, you will work directly with whānau to support and empower them on their journey to recovery. This involves providing tools, resources, and guidance to overcome challenges and achieve their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lived or work experience in AOD within Māori and Pasifika Communities is essential.
  • Experience working with Māori and Pasifika communities in the health and/or social services spaces.
  • A deep understanding of Te Ao Māori, commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and culturally appropriate practices.
  • An ability to empower and motivate people to reflect on their lives and make positive decisions for themselves and their whānau.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and an ability to work with whānau to identify and develop creative solutions.
  • NZ Full Drivers' Licence.
  • The ability to speak Te Reo Māori would be an advantage.
