Job Description

Company Overview: Wellington Water is a professional water services provider across Greater Wellington and South Wairarapa. Our mission is to provide safe and healthy drinking water, collect and treat wastewater, and ensure the stormwater network is well managed.

Salary: The remuneration range for this role is $98,925 to $139,658 per annum, with a midpoint of $116,382.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver monthly management reporting internally and support the delivery of monthly external reports to councils.
  • Provide fact-based analysis and insights, and accurate budgeting and forecasting information.
  • Tell the story beyond the numbers using excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) qualification.
  • 5+ years post-qualification accounting experience.
  • Strong collaborative skills with the ability to relate to a diverse workforce.
  • Experience in complex budgeting and forecasting processes in a large organisation, with experience in Technology One preferred.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
