Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as Senior Financial Accountant. As a key member of our Head Office team, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing treasury functions, and managing tenant relationships. You will also have the opportunity to lead finance projects, contribute to the design of internal controls, and provide strategic input into the direction of the Group.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate financial records in Xero and other relevant systems, ensuring seamless data management.
  • Overseeing treasury functions, including daily bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting, to drive business growth.
  • Managing tenant relationships for financial purposes, including responding to queries and debtor reporting, to foster strong partnerships.
  • Coordinating month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of financial reports, to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, providing assurance for stakeholders.
  • Leading finance projects to enhance efficiency and stakeholder experience, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Providing general support across the business as part of a small Head Office team, contributing to a collaborative culture.
  • Preparing annual financial statements and tax returns for review, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Managing payables/creditor processes and payroll, streamlining financial operations.
  • Leading annual tenant opex wash-ups and budgets, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Preparing annual Group P&L and cash forecasts, including rolling and long-term forecasts, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Contributing to the design of internal controls and finance risk management framework, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance.
  • Providing strategic input into the direction of the Group alongside senior management, shaping the future of the organization.
  • Identifying and recommending opportunities to optimize returns within the Group's risk profile, driving value creation.
