Financial Crime Operations Team Lead

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Operations Team Lead to join our team at ASB Bank.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the Financial Crime Business Performance & Remediation (FCO Office) team based at North Wharf.
You will support the following key outcomes:
- Coordinate the Financial Crime Operations Committee (FCOC), including preparing meeting packs and minutes while promoting continuous improvement.
- Development reporting content and high-quality written documents to ensure consistent, timely and accurate messaging across relevant forums.
- Support the development, analyses, and delivery of insightful operational, risk, and remediation reporting to enable timely and effective decisioning alongside key stakeholders.
- Support the development and execution of an effective communication plan.
**Responsibilities:**
- Absorb and interpret information from various sources and use that information to drive decision making.
- Manage and support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the FCO Office.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks to provide strategic guidance to the team.
- Provide expert advice on risk management and mitigation strategies to business leaders and stakeholders.
**Requirements:**
- Strong understanding of compliance/operational risk frameworks and their application in an operational context.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and the ability to interpret information and draw meaningful insights.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
