Auckland Transport is committed to shaping the future of transport in Auckland. As our Head of Active Modes and Transport Solutions, you will play a critical role in promoting sustainable transport options and reducing congestion.
About the RoleYou will lead a team to develop and implement effective strategies that encourage the use of active modes such as walking and cycling. Key tasks include:
- Planning, monitoring, and reporting delivery of programmes with your direct reports.
- Developing and maintaining a high-performance culture within your team.
- Representing Active Modes in the Senior Leadership team of the PTAM directorate.
- Collaborating with AT media and marketing teams to publicise and promote active modes.
With 10+ years of experience in people leadership, transport planning, or event programmes, you will have a strong understanding of complex stakeholder engagement in the public sector. You will also possess a tertiary degree qualification in a relevant field.
