We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Dunedin. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of HVAC Mechanical projects, ensuring quality, safety, and programme requirements are met. This includes supervision of direct staff and subcontractors, acquiring materials and coordinating their efforts, and engaging subcontractors in accordance with specific contract requirements.
As a key member of our team, you will act as the first point of contact with clients and main contractors, setting and managing project expectations with team members and stakeholders. You will also plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clients and main contractors, and conduct regular safety inspections on all aspects of the work.
To be successful in this role, you will require relevant professional or technical tertiary qualifications, a background in HVAC Mechanical with design and/or estimating skills, and at least 5 years of experience in project management roles in the trade. You will also need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, sound industry knowledge, and a passion for maintaining a safe working environment.
