Job Description

As a Production Test Technician at Rocket Lab, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our aerospace mechanical & electrical components. Your primary responsibilities will involve rigorous testing and qualification of mechanical hardware, as well as proficient operation and maintenance of testing machinery. You will be expected to perform complex testing and integration tasks with a high level of precision and expertise.

Responsibilities

Test and qualify mechanical hardware to ensure performance and reliabilityOperate and maintain testing machinery to ensure efficient and effective testingCollaborate with Development Engineers on space flight hardware, reaction wheels & spacecraftSupport Neutron R&D testing of flight and development hardwareInspect mechanical components to ensure quality and accuracy

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have 2+ years of relevant industry experience. You should be familiar with the operation of vibe/shaker table and have experience with compiling concise and accurate test reports. Additionally, you should have precision mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience and be comfortable working with basic tools. A good level of eyesight and ability to inspect assemblies to a high workmanship standard are also required.
