Puke Ariki Libraries are seeking a Senior Library Coordinator Te Ao Maori to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to leading services in a new direction and make a positive impact on our community.

You will be working in a supportive and culturally safe workplace that is committed to improving services as part of Te Tiriti Partnerships. You will collaborate with iwi, Government, not-for-profits and businesses to achieve outcomes that benefit our community.

This role involves providing exceptional customer service, supporting research, library spaces and programming to meet the needs of the Maori community. You will also identify areas for improvement for Bicultural service delivery within the Library network and contribute to the planning and delivery of programmes and events across the library network.

To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant qualification in Library and Information Management, Te Reo and Matauranga Maori or willingness to study in this area. You will also have experience working in libraries (preferably Public Libraries) and proficient in Te Reo Maori me ona tikanga.
