Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Soil Transfer Machine Operator to join our team. As a Soil Transfer Machine Operator, you will be responsible for processing and maintenance of hydro excavation waste through our soil transfer unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate soil transfer machinery to process hydro excavation waste efficiently.
  • Ensure all paperwork and reports are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including pumps and electrical components, to minimize downtime.
  • Work in all weather conditions and be prepared for a physically demanding job.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation and maintain safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and fix equipment, including pumps and electrical components.
  • Class 2 license is essential; Class 4 license is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a wheeled loader.
  • Flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing tasks and job demands, including possible weekend work.
  • Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
