We're looking for a skilled Child Services Specialist to join our team at the Otara Site. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing plans that promote the well-being of young people, working closely with whānau and other professionals involved in the plan.
You'll spend time with the rangatahi, building relationships, and providing support to help them achieve their goals. As part of the team, you'll contribute to case management, planning, and decision-making processes, using your expertise to deliver positive outcomes for our young people.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Te Reo Māori and Tikanga, as well as experience working within diverse cultural contexts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
- Familiarity with Te Reo Māori and Tikanga
- Full, clean, and current NZ Driver's Licence
- Understanding of Oranga Tamariki's mission and values
- Cross-cultural competence, particularly knowledge of tikanga Māori and Pacific peoples' culture
- Able to work business hours, with flexibility for after-hours or weekend work when required
