About the Role
The New Zealand Government seeks a skilled and dedicated mental health professional to join our team in the Rural North sector. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and whānau across the Coromandel Peninsula and Hauraki region.
Key Responsibilities
This position involves conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, developing collaborative recovery plans, and providing therapeutic interventions and solutions. You will work closely with our local NGO and PHO partners to ensure effective care coordination and community engagement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in upholding Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, particularly in healthcare settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as a commitment to fostering partnerships and interagency collaboration. A passion for making a difference to the lives of tangata whaiora and whānau is a must.
