Desktop System Administrator

**About the Role:**
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Desktop System Administrator to join our IT team at Neptune Pacific Direct Line. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring and managing network settings, deploying OS images, and maintaining enterprise security solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex technical problems, troubleshoot system crashes, and configure network settings.
- IT Infrastructure & Security: Deploy OS images, configure firewall configurations, and maintain enterprise security solutions.
- Systems Administration & Automation: Automate processes using scripting languages, manage user accounts, and configure Active Directory.
- User Support & Training: Deliver top-tier customer service, lead junior technicians, and document solutions for future reference.
Requirements:
- Tech-Savvy & Knowledgeable: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Hands-On IT Experience: 2-5 years of IT support experience for Desktop Support Engineer II, or 5+ years for Desktop Support Engineer III.
- Industry Certifications: A+ Certification is preferred.
- Port & Vessel Access: Ability to board vessels and provide on-site IT support.
