Senior Clinician for Child Health Services

**About the Role**
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Clinician to join our team at Northern Regional Alliance. As a key member of our paediatric therapy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to children and adolescents with orthopaedic conditions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will also have the opportunity to support junior staff, develop your leadership skills, and contribute to the growth and success of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Provide physiotherapy services to children and adolescents with orthopaedic conditions, ensuring that all patients receive exceptional care and support.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Support junior staff in developing and delivering the inpatient service with orthopaedics, helping them to grow and develop their skills.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide whanau-centred care, communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in physiotherapy, applying contemporary theory and practice to deliver effective assessment and interventions.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- NZ registration as a Physiotherapist with current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Minimum 4+ years of post-graduate clinical work experience and 2 years full-time experience within the area of specialty
- Proven experience working in clinical leadership and service development/quality improvement
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
