You will be working Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm.We're looking for a Registered Health Professional – Social Worker, OT, or Registered Nurse preferably with experience in the Youth sector to join our Real Talk programme.You will be reporting to a Team Coach and will be co-facilitating the Real Talk Group Programme which runs over 10 weeks, offering early interventions for vulnerable taiohi struggling with symptoms of mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
It is delivered with the intent of teaching skills that will enable them to better manage intense emotions, social stressors and other things that get in the way of everyday life.
One on One support is also offered as part of the service delivery and another key aspect of the role is networking with local communities, schools, and other NGOs.You | MouAs a Clinician, you will be drawing on your experience in working with young people, and expertise from a range of treatment modalities to provide therapeutic interventions in supporting young people to build confidence, resilience, and well-being.You will also:Experience working in mental health and addiction settings or similarThe ability to work well with other services such as DHBs, PHOs, and the wider community and social sectorFull New Zealand driver's licenseCurrent First Aid CertificateIdeally, you will have knowledge of the Health and Social Services sectorsKnowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to the principles of the Te Tiriti o WaitangiApplications Close: Tuesday, 11th March 2025.
