In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families. As an Associate Charge Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operational management of the Emergency Department, ensuring optimal patient care, efficiency, and safety.

You will work closely with the Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and maintain best practices in emergency care. Your responsibilities will include providing leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

About You
A New Zealand registered nurse with a current practising certificate and scope appropriate to the place of work is essential. Prior experience in emergency nursing is expected, and postgraduate qualifications are desired. Awareness of and sensitivity to individual and cultural differences is also required.
