The Opportunity
We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Whangarei. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including land development, transport, three waters, and power generation and transmission. You will be involved in planning site investigations, carrying out geotechnical design, construction monitoring, and project management.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan and execute site investigations and geotechnical design
- Carry out construction monitoring and project management
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver results
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, including ground investigations, design, and construction supervision of earthworks, piling, retaining walls, and other geotechnical works. You will also need to have a tertiary qualification and proven experience post-graduation within a consultancy environment. We are looking for someone with 3+ years' experience in the design of geotechnical works, completing design reports, specifications, and detailed construction drawings.
