Role Overview

The FNZ Group is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Actions Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and processing corporate events that occur across our various financial products.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement processing procedures to ensure timely product delivery and exceptional customer experience.
  2. Formulate procedures, workflow channels, and service manuals to support our operations team.
  3. Process corporate actions on managed funds, equities, and fixed interest products within Key Performance Indicator targets.
  4. Manage maturities, fund closures, non-income corporate action events, and other relevant activities.
  5. Source relevant information from fund managers, data feeds, Bloomberg, custodian agents, and relevant websites.
  6. Liaise with the Client Relationship and Support team to ensure effective communication.
  7. Maintain internal stock and cash ledger control accounts and clear them daily.
  8. Reconcile client holdings versus agent holdings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A background and interest in financial markets, ideally with exposure to corporate actions.
  • Tertiary qualification.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in operations is preferred.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including MSSQL Server 2008.
  • Attitude to execute, deliver, and succeed with high attention to detail.
  • Proven communication skills.
  • Ability to solve Financial Market and IT System issues.
  • Enthusiastic and able to perform the role autonomously while being a team player and contributing to the overall success of the team and wider business.
  • Proven project delivery.
