**The Role**We are seeking a skilled Corporate Governance Counsel to join our Governance, Sustainability & Executive Office team. As a trusted advisor, you will provide critical support to the Head of Governance, Sustainability & Executive Office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing regulatory-related advice and services, training, process improvement, and education on governing frameworks and regulations.
- Managing conflicts of interest and official information act requests, ensuring transparency and coordination of government and sector-led consultation.
- Developing and maintaining corporate policies, compliance frameworks, and registers.
You will work closely with the Sustainability Team on climate change matters, including Climate Statement and greenhouse gas emissions reporting.
**Requirements**
- LLB or relevant tertiary qualification.
- Excellent relationship management skills and ability to work at all levels.
- Proven effectiveness in providing legal services in a complex commercial or regulatory environment.
